Graf Quidam is a BS silver elite stallion and the son of the fantastic world-famous show jumping sire, Quidam de Revel.
He brings athleticism, intelligence and a winning attitude and throughout his career has been a joy to work with and compete. Graf Quidam won his 100 day performance test achieving 141index points.
His winning spree continued in his youth as he won the Eastern European 4 year old, 5 year old, 6 year old and 7 year old championship year after year. Since coming to the UK he has shown his championship form and winning attitude to collect over £12,000 in winnings in the UK alone.
His sire, Quidam de Revel was part of the Bronze Medal winning team and 4th individual at the Barcelona Olympics and stems from the outstanding Alme-Jalisco B line. In 2004, Quidam de Revel topped the World Breeding Championships Jumping Stallion ratings for the second year running, establishing himself as the pre-eminent – and most expensive – living sire of jumping horses. With ten (!) of his progeny jumping in Jerez 2002, he was the stallion with the most number of progeny at the WEG. He followed this in London 2012 Olympic games with 11 of his progeny represented.
Graf Quidam’s dam, Grafia is from the very successful Rosette line competing at the highest levels internationally, and grandsire Dalican was also a prolific winner in Poland.
Bob has owned Graf Quidam for as long as he has been in the UK and understands the successful breeding requirements in order to achieve the best results. For example, in 2015 the Best British Bred seven year old event horse was awarded to a son of Graf Quidam and a homebred mare was second in the 6 year old Show jumping finals at Addington Young Horse Event.
Graf Quidam has sired many young stock and examples of which can be seen at the stud from foals to 6 year olds. His progeny show the same scope, wining attitude and talent which is prevalent throughout this breeding line.
This is a unique opportunity to use classic World Cup blood lines.
In the past few year alone Graf Quidam has sired the Best British 7 year old event horse and many of his show jumping progeny are competing successfully internationally.
